He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis and Mary Riggs Sr. (Stone); and his sister Edna Mergenthaler. He is survived by: his fiancée Sherry Carpenter; his siblings, Peggy Wright, Elaine Riggs-Morrow, Debbie Davis and Ron Riggs; and his stepchildren, David Cooper, Thomas Fish and Dustin Fish.
