He is survived by: his wife Virginia Stewart (Cundiff); his son Juan A. L. Stewart Sr.; his grandchildren, Stacey Lynn Hamel (Damon) and Juan A. L. Stewart Jr.; his great grandchild Javonne L. Stewart Jr.; his stepgranddaughter Ayana Hatcher; and his stepsiblings, Frank Burrell and Angela Curtiss (Lance).
