He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester J. Kerr and Francis A. Kerr (Shadbolt); and his siblings, Constance Bernet, Shirley Bentley and Ronald Kerr.

He is survived by : his wife Louella Kerr of Alvordton, Ohio; his children, Bobbie Kerr, Kris Kerr and Rachel Kerr; his grandchildren, Robin Kerr, Eli Wittenmyer and Caid Wittenmyer; his brother Jerry Kerr; and his pets, Angus McGregor Kerr, Freddie Kerr and T. Kerr.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family or West Unity American Legion Post 669.
