She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertha Margaret (Kintz) and Chester Arthur Short; her husband Frank; her son Robert Franklin Brewer; and her sister Doris L. Barnett.

She is survived by : her former life partner Harry Franklin Brewer; her children, Randy L. Brewer (Cheryl) of Vernon, Beth A. Bakos (Jeff) of Vernon and Teresa L. Cornell (Tom) of Johnston, Ohio; her sisters, Jean Egbert of Chardon and Virginia O'Tacsck of Aurora, Ohio; her brother-in-law John Barnett of Garrettsville, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Frank, Amy, Katie, Kristeen, Keith, Kelly, Kyle, Steven and James. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
