He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Heller and Elmer Holmes; his siblings, George Wood, Tom Wood, Ernest Wood and Evelyn Wood; and his son Eric Holmes.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marsha Schlotzhaur (Ron) and Elizabeth Brockway (Leroy); his children, Kerri Holmes, Kyndra Mae Holmes, Troy Holmes, Buffy Elder, Shannon Hammond (Ben), Heather (Addison) and Warner; his grandchildren, Evelyn Gilbert, Davien Clayton Holmes, Tristan Nowak, McKenzie Nowak, Zachary Fuller, Ariana Hammond, Jessica Elder, Jamie Hargreaves and Kayla Wilson; his great grandchildren, Avelyn Crown and Amelia Crown; and his pets, Wrylie and George. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
