He was predeceased by: his parents, Nobel and Minnie Kauffman (Yoder); and his siblings, Delmar, Willard, Herman and Mamie.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his children, Armon Kauffman (Bernie) of Goshen, IN, Twila Kauffman of Archbold, OH, Marlo Kauffman (Deanna) of Goshen, IN and Arlin Kauffman (Leslie) of Mason, OH; his grandchildren, Jason Kauffman (Shelley) of Goshen, IN, Andrew Kauffman (Stephanie) of Goshen, IN, Jill Claassen (Peter) of Goshen, IN, Jordan Kauffman (Christa) of Goshen, IN, Melissa Gillespie (Brandon) of Denver, CO and Katelyn Kauffman of Mason, OH; his great grandchildren, Todd Kauffman of Goshen, IN, Oliver Kauffman of Goshen, IN, Sophia Kauffman of Goshen, IN, Clara Kauffman of Goshen, IN and Anna Kauffman of Goshen, IN; his siblings, Betty Swartzentruber of Turner, MI, Shirley Oaks of East Tawas, MI and Larry Kauffman (Lois) of Lancaster, PA.; and his sister-in-law Mildred Kauffman of Turner, MI..
Due to Covid-19, there will be no public visitation, and a private memorial service will be for immediate family at Central Mennonite Church.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Central Mennonite Church or American Heart Association.
