She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Osborne and Mary Belle Osborne (Tackett); her former husband William "Bill" Orsborne; and her siblings, Zettie Brooks, Bethel Lang and Kenneth Osborne.

She is survived by: her husband Timothy Root; her children, Sharon Tackett (Kenny) of Tucson, AZ, Ann Ridenour (Homer) of Ashtabula, Gretchen Joslin of Conneaut and Jeff Root (Pam) of Boise, ID; her grandchildren, Kennith "Bo" Tackett of Tucson, AZ, Robby Tackett (Sheryl) of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer Shadow (Tim) of Tennessee, Eric Ridenour (Temple) of North Carolina, Riley, Katherine Joslin, Conner and Trever Wood; and her siblings, Hazel Reed of Saybrook, Betty Frasure of Ashtabula, Nora Pinney (Rick) of Las Vegas, NV, Brenda Snow of Arkansas, Oscar "Bubby" Orsborne, Jr. (Sherry) of Florida and Tavis Osborne of Ashtabula. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God-Church Building Fund, 2201 Cook Rd., Ashtabula OH 44004.
