She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bookwalter and Francis Bookwalter (Manning); and her siblings, Marie Preston, Jack and Robert Bookwalter.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Yahraus; her daughter Pamela Coates; her grandchildren, Kathleen and Timothy Drum; her sibling's children, Donna Morris and Edward Bookwalter; and her stepdaughter Linda Paolillo (Dorothy Nugent).
