He was predeceased by: his father Cyrus B. Wheeler, Sr.. He is survived by: his cousin Roland; his friend Louise Ferguson; his wife Mary Wheeler; his mother Marion Wheeler (Crandall); his children, Fred Wheeler (Jody Rossi) of Ashtabula, Cyrus "Ben" Wheeler, III (Devney) of Reno, Raymond Wheeler of Conneaut, Cheryl Fuller (Mike) of Ashtabula, Kim Mitter of Monroe Township, Julie Martin (Doug) of Monroe Township, June Sackett (Frank Cooper) of Conneaut, Cindy Rankinen (Steve Heise) of Conneaut and Christine Ober (Jim) of Westmorland, Tennessee; his sisters, Juanita Goddard of Sarasota, Sandra Carpenter of Athens, Barbara Reams of Ashtabula and Connie Spencer (Doug Mayle) of Ashtabula; his pet Lily; his children-in-law, Susan Wheeler and John Mitter; and his great grandchild John Cyrus Wheeler. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Cy's wishes, the family requests no flowers, and suggests memorials in his memory to the Monroe Township Fire Department or to the family.
