She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph R. Peterangelo; her brother Raymond Kangas; and her parents, Matt Kangas and Jennie Kangas. She is survived by : her children, JoAnn Gavacs (James) of Aurora, OH, Susan Simpson (Frank Dudley) of Coatesville, IN and Mark Peterangelo (Kay) of The Woodlands, TX; her siblings, Lee Hawkins, Helen Sommer, Shirley Jarvi and Robert Kangas; and her grandchildren, Halle Simpson, Jenny Wong (Felix), Scott Simpson, Neil Gavacs, Dawn Swanson (Andrew) and Joy Peterangelo.
