She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Short and Virginia Short (Riley); her husband Joe Spano; her siblings, Glenna Wine, Elwood Short, Sam Short and Tom Short; her daughter-in-law Margaret Pyles; and her stepdaughter Gloria Norton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Timothy Pyles of Smithville, TN, Sherrie Wawrowski (Timothy) of Kingsville, OH and Robert Pyles, Jr. (Charlene) of Independence, WV; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Scott, Destinee, Emilee, Jennifer, Brandon, Christina, Tyler, Timothy II and Danielle; and her sister Doris Jackson. She is also survived by daughter.
