He is survived by: his children, Marvin D. Hughes of McComb, MS and Monique Williams (Damon) of Ashtabula; his siblings, Judy Smith (Robert) of McComb, MS, Herbert Hughes (Pearlie) of Washington, DC and Tommie Hughes (Mamie); his nieces, Dorothy Harris of Ashtabula and Marchella; his uncle Alfonse Carter (Bus) of Murfreesboro, TN; his daughter Alisa Nierzejewski (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Deanna Hughes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
