He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry E. Woodruff, Sr. and Jennie Knox Woodruff; and his grandmother Donna Knox. He is survived by: his son Kyle Woodruff of Athens; his grandchildren, Tory Woodruff and Ayden Gwinn; his sister Kelly Sebring (John) of Chauncey; his niece Shauna Farmer (Kevin) of Logan; and his nephew Jeremy Sebring (Katie) of Cincinnati.
