He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dicken and Nannie Robinson Dicken; his wife Hazel Madge Deal Dicken; and his siblings, Bonnie Hendrick and Clyde Dicken.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Dicken of Athens, Jeffrey Dicken (Sheila) of Minerva, John Dicken (Corrina) of Athens and Neal Dicken (Suzanne) of Athens; his grandchildren, Dartland Dicken of Washington State, Jacinda Nicholson of Canton, Michael Dicken (Misty) of Athens and Alice Dicken (Mark Russell) of Athens; his great grandchildren, Meghan Reinhart and Alexander Nicholson; his sister Bessie Sherman of New Marshfield; and his close friend Bernice "Birdie" Hoisington.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
