With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Tom of Athens, Ohio, born in Millfield, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd W. Wemer and Velma R. Powell Wemer; her husband James "Jimmy" W. Tom; and her siblings, Vera Rhoads, Uldine Lewis, Robert Lee Wemer, Floyd Wemer, Jr. and Hugh Wesley Wemer.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Tom (Cindy) of Glendale, AZ, Jan Kilbarger (Bill) of Lancaster, Jess Van Tom (Annette) of Indianola, IA, Jennie Long (Larry) of Bexley and Adam Tom (Katherine) of Rome, GA; and her sister Donna Sue Matthews of Corning. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
