It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jairod T. Wesson Cather of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 7, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-aunt Diane Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer Smith (Joe DePalma) of Athens and Justin Cather of Athens; his grandparents, John Smith (Karen) of Pomeroy, Glena Stennett (Lee Weekley) of Albany, Jerry Cather of Athens, Lora Whipple of Nelsonville, Jackie Haid (Woody) and Andy DePalma (Leeanna Morgan); and his aunts and uncles, Stephanie Perry (Emeric) of Athens, Eric Smith (Savannah) of Columbus, Bryan Wilson (Tammy) of Arlington, TX and Jessica Cleavenger (Robert). He is also survived by cousins, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
