He is survived by: his parents, Gary Wayne and Diana Welch Phillips of Athens; his children, Brandon McCune of Nelsonville, Jace Phillips of Pomeroy, Ivy Webster of Jackson, Abbey Russell of Millfield, Kyler Phillips of Pomeroy and Ava Phillips of Pomeroy; his grandchildren, Abigale, Madison, Braxton and Hunter; his siblings, Gary Wayne Phillips Jr. (Hollie) of Chauncey and Connie Monroe of Nelsonville; and his grandmother Alberta Stanley of The Plains.
