She was predeceased by: her parents, George Van Dyke, Jr. and Joan Lee VanDyke; and her sister Tina Rutter. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Riley of Athens, Della Jane Burch of Athens and Robert VanDyke of Athens; her grandchildren, Austin, Emily, Savannah VanDyke, Kevin Dale McDonald and Leo Riley; and her siblings, Shellie VanDyke (Ray Hart) of Athens, George Everett VanDyke (Beth) of Athens, Jeffrey VanDyke of Athens and Jerry VanDyke (Brenda) of Chauncey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
