Mary E. Rice Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Rice of Athens, Ohio, born in New Plymouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Donley Carter and Bertha Swisher Carter; her husband Blaine Rice; her children, Mary Jo Gabriel, Jerry Lee Rice and Larry Thomas Rice; her daughter-in-law Esther Rice; and her siblings, Treca, Alice, Wilma, Pauline, Evelyn, Robert and Stanley.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Sandra Rice of West Monroe, Louisiana and Keith Gabriel of Athens. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several great, great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, a Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at a later date.
