It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Lee Whaley (Athens, Ohio), who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Maryanne Queen (Robert), Autumn Whaley and Bobbi Hallam; her grandchildren, Kalah Russell (Kyle), Sean West, Hayden Queen, Audrie Colmer, Lily Colmer, Phoenix Whaley, Connor Swain, Foster Dempsey, Kayden Ennis and Izaeah Ennis; her great grandchildren, Oliver Russell and Piper Russell; her mother Mary Anne Whaley; her siblings, Michael Whaley, Michele Meacham (Junior) and Melissa Whaley-Chamberlain (Sam); her nephews, Geoffrey Martin (Rosanne) and Emerson Bartlett; her niece Raven Jane Chamberlain Whaley; her great-niece Hadley Martin; her father Mayford Whaley; her brother Mayford Isaac Whaley; and her close friend Jennifer Strater. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, mother, siblings.
