He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brewer Smith and Anna Lee Thornsberry; and his sister Valencia Reneé Smith. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Julian Ousley (Brianna), Susan Pelaez (Daniel) and Sarah Smith; his siblings, Charles Smith (Lisa), Richard Smith, Donald Gerron, Jr. (Wendy), Donna Gerron and Anna Bobo (Larry); and his friend Graylen McClaren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
