With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Keirns of Athens, Ohio, born in Millfield, Ohio, who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. LaFollette and Garnet E. LaFollette; her husband Robert B. Keirns; her brother Rodney LaFollette (Sonny); her granddaughter Carrie Sue Stout; and her father-in-law Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Keirns (Nancy) of Athens, Larry Keirns (Mamie) of Millfield, Ruby Jordan (Ed) of Athens, Kathy Washburn (Jim) of Amesville and Rhonda Hart (Jeff) of Athens; her grandchildren, Wendy Chrisman, Michael Jordan, Jamie Washburn, Jason Keirns, Tracie Hines, Tonia Martin, Teresa Montle, Tim Stout, Bradley Keirns, Robbie Keirns and Brian Keirns; her sister Alene E. King; and her great grandchild Chelsea Washburn. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
