She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leonard and Martha Morris Bowling; and her husband William Shumate. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Shumate (Jim Smith), Nancy J Shumate and Karen L Barnhart; her grandsons, Derek Barnhart (Cindy) and Jason Barnhart; and her great grandchildren, Breah and Griffin Barnhart.
