He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Maurer and Alva Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Norma Maurer; his daughters, Sherry Heinrich (Steve) of Avon Lake and Janet Thomas (late Tim) of Avon; his grandchildren, Nicholas Heinrich, Zachary Heinrich (Colleen Akers), Nicole Norris (Ryan) and Taylor Scott (Jacob); and his great grandchild Anna.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (32747 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
