With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret J. Traxler of Avon Lake, Ohio, born in Avon, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret left this world on July 28, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norbert Traxler; her parents, Conrad Straub and Anna Straub; and her siblings, Evelyn Wolf, Gordon Straub, Conrad Straub Jr. and Norman Straub.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Traxler (Merrilee), Judy Conn (Tim), Thomas Traxler, Janet Klein, Anne Taylor (James) and Robert Traxler. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Misencik Funeral Home (36363 Detroit Rd, Avon, OH 44011). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (410 Lear Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Cemetery (33843 Detroit Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
