He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Nurse; his daughter Maria Blackmon of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, Cheryl Singletary (Chester) of Akron, Ohio, Lamont McMillan (Sharon) of Atlanta and Gary (Jerilyn); and his grandchildren, Ronnel Blackmon (Tinika) of Atlanta, Ryan Blackman of Los Angeles, California, Karli Blackmon-Long of Atlanta and Allison Brake of Akron, Ohio. He is also survived by great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
