He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Nelson Davis and Ray. He is survived by: his wife Wilma J. Tackett; his children, Rayedell, Dellraye, Lynell, Ray Jr., Keith and Tammy McCauley; his stepchildren, Carla Cutlip (Tim), Richard Harris (Angie), Charles Harris (Kim) and James Gibbs (Rhonda); and his sisters, Doralee Hairston, Sandra Garnes and Faith Barnes. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
