He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel C. Johnson and Claribel Johnson (Palmer); his sister Betty Flood; and his parents-in-law, Doc and Loraine Granger.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Johnson (Granger); his children, Sam Johnson (Heather) and Amy Frank Johnson (Rob Compher); his grandchildren, Ray, Charlie and Hannah Johnson; his siblings, Larry Staffin (Nancy) and Peggy Puckett (Richard); and his friends, Lee Lane, Betty Blanton, Bill Mitchell (Carol), Leatha Wisecup (Brian) and Cindy Mitchell (Dave). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a lot of special cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bainbridge Lodge #196 PO Box 582, the Fall Festival of Leaves PO Box 571 or the Bainbridge United Methodist Church PO Box 528.
