He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie D. Fruth and Clara A. Fruth (Rinebold); his wife Anna Grace (Miller); and his siblings, Duane, Larry, Robert Fruth, Charlotte Dootz and Marilyn Matthis.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Fruth (Lisa) of Tiffin, Karen Keegan (Rick) of Vickery and Allen Fruth (Caroline) of Caddo Mills, TX; his grandchildren, Brad Fruth (Amy), Steve Fruth (Sarah), Amanda Mack (Kyle), Matthew Keegan (Lindsay), Kendra Moore (Brian) and Judith Grace Fruth; his great grandchildren, Zachary Fruth, Sophia Fruth, Emily Fruth, Ethan Mack, Isaac Mack, Hestenne Fruth, Holland Fruth, Keegan Moore, Kaseleigh Moore, Jackie Keegan and Archie Keegan; and his brother Charles Fruth of Tiffin.
