It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bishop Richard Hubbard Jr. (Bedford Heights, Ohio), born in Boligee, Alabama, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Beatrice Taylor and Richard Hubbard Sr.; and also Carl. He is survived by: his children, Richard Hubbard III (Carolyn), Jacqueline Yvette Hubbard, Reginald Hubbard (Faith) and Darrell Eugene Hubbard (Ruby); his wife Mildred; his children, Billy, Dale and Alethea; his cousins, Keturah Williams of Detroit, MI. and Dorothy Tankard of Detroit, MI.; and also, William (Billy), Dale and Alethea. He is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calhoun Funeral Home (23000 Rockside Rd, Bedford Heights, OH 44146). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (5505 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, OH 44146).
