The memory of John F. Sklenar of Belle Valley, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Sklenar, and Catherine M. Kohut Sklenar, Sr.; his daughter Dawn Ann Sklenar; and his siblings, Emilia Smith, Ann Daughtery and Robert "Tom" Sklenar.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra O. Lapp Sklenar; his children, Susan L. Fugett of Columbus, Dorothea C. Sikora (Bill) of Zanesville, Beth A. Starr (Scott) of Piketon, Jennifer J. LaCroix (Jeff) of Columbus and John D. Sklenar of Lucasville; his sister Janice Cunningham (Richard Davis) of Cumberland; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Sklenar of Zanesville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home (416 East St, Caldwell, OH 43724). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
