He was predeceased by : his parents, James S. Ragland and Sue Ragland (Morris); and his siblings, Claudia Shellenbarger (Bill), David Ragland and Charles "Chuck" Ragland.

He is survived by : his siblings, Jill Fulmer (Carl), Pandora Plikerd (Robert) and Sam Ragland (Janice); his nephew Chucky Ragland; and his close friend Scott MacDonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
