With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nora A Myers of Bellefontaine, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nora left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene George DesCombes and Nola E. Connor DesCombes; her husband Arthur R. Myers, Jr.; and her siblings, Martin L. DesCombes and Joy Blackburn Emerson.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew A. Myers (Deborah) of Bradenton, FL, Douglas Myers (Teresa) of Morton, IL and Sally Robb (James) of Huntsville, OH; her grandchildren, Devry Shirk (Andy) of Lima, OH, Matthew S. Myers (Heather) of Bellefontaine, Shawn Myers (Jody) of Morton, Bryan Myers of Morton, Jacob Myers (Allison) of Morton, Nathan Myers (Terry) of Chicago, IL, Janua Jarrett of Meza, AZ, Steve Neff (Sarah) of Harrisburg, NC and Doug Neff (Sonya) of Juliet, TN; her siblings, Edward E. DesCombes, Jeneane Lesko, Linda Lewandoaski and Barbara Tassell; and her close friend Barbara Hodies. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shoffstall Funeral Home (205 S Main St, Lakeview, OH 43331). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Amvets Post #39 (110 W Harrison St, Lakeview, OH 43331).
