He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Milton and Reva Rose Campbell (Hill); his granddaughter Ashley Campbell; his brother Wilbur L. Campbell; and his brother-in-law Gene Horney.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Campbell of Bellefontaine; his children, Ken Campbell (Terri) of Englewood, FL and Pam Cramer (Dan) of Marysville; his grandsons, Josh Campbell and Caleb (Emily Cramer); his stepgrandchildren, Austin Gray of Englewood, FL and Lucinda Gray of Columbus; and his siblings, Roselyn Horney and Donald Campbell (Pat) of Cincinnati. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
