We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2023, at the age of 91, Valorie Jean Taylor of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Gustavas and Helen Louise Deslandes (Mabra); her husband Paul Douglas Taylor Sr.; her former life partner Jesse Williams; her children, Beverly Louise Dixon and Jesse Deslandes Williams; and her siblings, Michael Deslandes, Beverly Clark, Vera Seward and Ann Marie.

She is survived by : her children, Danielle Marie Smith (Fernando) of Piqua, Vera Jeanine Taylor of Long Beach, Paula Jean Cause (Mike) of Cincinnati, Helena Ann Berton (Jim) of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Dallas Dwight Williams of Urbana, Anthony Edward Taylor of Long Beach, Paul Douglas Taylor Jr. (Teresa) of Bellefontaine and Aaron Stephen Taylor I of Bellefontaine, Ohio; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Strickland of Bellefontaine, Dora Bowling (David) of Columbus, Ardella Deslandes of Columbus, Ohio, Richard Deslandes (Charlotte) of Bellefontaine and Howard Deslandes of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
