He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue Smith (Braden) and Eldon Smith; and his brother Larry Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Lindsay Smith Stanfield (Corey) and Michaela Smith; his grandchildren, Kaden Danhoff, Lillian Danhoff and Daxton Stanfield; his stepgrandchildren, Makylin Feltner, Drake Stanfield and Addison Standfield; and his siblings, Terri Cunningham, Karen Smith, Jeff Smith (Maggie), Jillian Patterson and David Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitors are required to bring and wear a mask during the visitation and funeral mass and are encouraged to follow all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.
