He was predeceased by : his parents, James "Ralph" and Garnet Vincent Gump; his wife Joyce E. Watt Gump; his daughter Teresa Renee; and his sister Linda Thompson.

He is survived by : his children, Suzan Corder, Jr. (Paul) and William "Bill" Gump (Barb); and his grandchildren, Mitchell June (Alexis), Dylan June (Tiffany), Rachael Hawk (Matt), Lacie Gump, Millie Corder, Logan and Lance Gump. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
