He was predeceased by: his father Robert Sponsler Sr.; and his sisters, Robin Wells and Retha O'Kernick. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Sponsler (Hamrick) of Cortland; his daughter Samantha Grigg of Grand Fork, ND; and his siblings, Robert Sponsler Jr. of Cortland, Martha Severt of Newton Falls and Cynthia Smith of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnston Township Cemetery.
