She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Sophia Wilhelm and Arthur Mandeville Byrne; her husbands, Raymond Swartout, Gordon W. Jones and Ray Bell; her sons, Raymond J. Swartout III and Gordon C. Jones; and her siblings, David Byrne, Geraldine Raymond, Ruth Cass, LeRoy Byrne, Ralf Byrne, Jean Reese and Coral Woodruff.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Swartout and Dawn Jones; her daughter-in-law Joanne Swartout; and her grandchildren, Monica, John Adkin, Raymond, Shonda Swartout, Shawn, Darcy Swartout, Carrie Swartout, Mitchell Studebaker, Michael Studebaker, Shawnda and Jason Studebaker-Williams. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren & 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Betty donated her body to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program.
