He was predeceased by : his parents, John Zahuranec and Suzanne Zahuranec; his wife Jean Marie; and his brothers, William, Edward and John. He is also survived by grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Charles' honor to Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice, 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville, OH 44136.
