With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Marie Murdoch of Brunswick, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ruth Ann (Erwin); her brother Michael Dugan; and her siblings-in-law, Alan Herpka, John Higham and Louise Sopko.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Murdoch (Christy) of New Port Richey, FL, Kelly Bahr (Will Carroll) of Valley City and Thomas Murdoch (Brenda) of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Rylee Murdoch, Cason Murdoch, Evan Murdoch, Kristen Bahr, Charlie Bahr, Ryan Bahr, Seth Murdoch and Liam Murdoch; her siblings, Ronald Sopko, Patrick Dugan (Linda), Cheryl Herpka and Kathy Higham; and her sisters-in-law, Diana Murphy, Carol Bailey and Beverly Calfee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Brookpark Recreation Center (17400 Holland Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
