He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Fleming Halke; his parents, Urban J. Sr. Halke and Mildred Halke; and his sisters, Evelyn Dillensnyder, Mildred Joanne "Joan" Harling and Joyce Musser.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Halke (Susan) of North Ridgeville, Michelle Principi (John) of Pinckney and Mark Halke of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Christopher Halke, Zoe and Carlie Principi; and his siblings, Cassie "Cass" Conrad (Donald) and William Halke (Susan).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Urban's name to the American Cancer Society, the ALS Association or the Yellow Breeches Anglers and Conservation Association.
