He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose J. Alvarez and Francesca Alvarez (Reyes); and his siblings, Angel, Luciano, Alfredo, Lupe Alvarez and Sylvia Alvarez.
He is survived by: his son Quanah Daniels of Alvordton, Ohio; and his siblings, Alfonso Alvarez of Lansing, Joe Alvarez (Mary) of West Unity, Ramiro Alvarez (Mary) of Napoleon, Robert Alvarez of Lansing, Noel Alvarez (Angie) of Lansing and Francesca Shufelt (David) of Edgerton, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
