He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hendrix and Iris Lucile Edwards (Mercer); his wife Betty Edwards; his brother Warren Edwards; his granddaughter Morgan Rae; and his stepsons, David and Randy Strouse.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Edwards (Andrea) of Lyons and April Edwards of Bryan; his grandchildren, J. Tucker Harman of Bryan and Charli Jo Dunderman of Antwerp; his great grandchildren, Arriyana, Kaydence, Grace Lynn and Emberly; his stepchildren, Cindy Strouse of Bryan, Christina Moore (Wendell) of Bryan, Mike Strouse (Tonya) of Tulsa, OK, Kenny Strouse (Diane) of Mocksville, NC and Ronnie Strouse (Connie) of Wildwood, FL; and his siblings, Linda Esterline (Leland) of Bryan, Jim Edwards (Kay) of Bryan, Wendy Celestino (Bill) of Bryan and Deb Shikora (Jim) of Ney. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
