He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Palmerton and Clela Geneva Palmerton (Gilbert); and his siblings, Charles, Paul, Helen and Gladys Elaine.
He is survived by: his nephew Melvin Palmerton (Vicki) of Bryan; and his niece Carole Fillmore (Lyle) of Antwerp, Ohio. He is also survived by two great-nephews; one great- great-nephew; one great-great-niece; and close friends.
