She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Casimir P. Herman and Kathryn G. Herman (Batt); her husband Edward W. Burns; her children, Diane Burns of Columbus, Marilyn Wiles of Edgerton, Janet Weisz (Mitch) of Canton, Carol Martinez (John) of Bryan, Ronald Burns (Buff) of Fort Collins and Steven Burns (Beverly) of Edgerton; and her siblings, Donald Herman of Edgerton, Edward Herman (Nancy) of Southern Pines, Ambrose Herman (Mary) of Edgerton, Cletus Herman (Rita) of Edgerton, Barbara Thiel of Edgerton, Elaine Mohley of Edgerton and Phyllis Arend. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Due to ongoing pandemic precautions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton with Reverend Andreww Wellmann officiating.
