She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Byers and Alma Byers (Steinke); her husband Walter L. Roberts; her brothers, Richard, Robert and Ronald Byers; and her son-in-law Don Strubing.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Roberts (Jeanette) of Bryan, Eric Roberts (Gina) of Maumee and Robyn McCoart (Glenn) of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Mason, Ethan, Bryn, Aidan, Jonathan, Evan, Leo, Paul and Mitchel; and her pet Sophie.
