She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Gass and Ruth Eveline Gass (Brown); her husband Herman Sloan; her son Donald Sloan; her granddaughter Jessica; and her brother Herman "Shorty" Gass.
She is survived by: her children, David Sloan, Brenda Lehman (Harold) and Barbara Makeever (Tim); her grandsons, Mitchell, Michael and John; her great grandchildren, Zachary and Ryan; her grandsons, Chelsie Tatum and Keyarah; her great great grandchildren, Beretta, Bailey, Annabelle, Eevee, Scarlett, Valencia, Odin, Rhett, Jaxton, Ansley and Elaina; and her siblings, John Gass (Margaret), Henry Gass (Malinda) of Florida and Barbara Perry (Eugene). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association of the American Cancer Society through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.
