With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Victoria Palenshus (Bucyrus, Ohio), who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Walther and Oleta Walther (Kalb); her husbands, Otto Palenshus and James Trachsel; her sister Annabelle Frank (Walther); her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Frank and Ronald Hoover; and her nephew Frederick Frank.
She is survived by: her sister Norma Hoover (Walther) of Bucyrus, Ohio; her nieces, Theresa Trase (Frank) of Litchfield, Denise Scheiner (Frank) of Robbinsville, New Jersy, Shelley Duffy (Frank) of Richardson and Deb Rucklos (Hoover) of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; her nephew Denis Hoover of Bucyrus, Ohio.; and her pet Steve Wells.
Because of this, she would appreciate any gifts given to be made payable to the Ohio State University Foundation.
