It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Davina Brogan-Akers (Bucyrus, Ohio), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Denis "Denny" Brogan; and her siblings, Darin Todd Brogan and Holly Leann Brogan. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Brogan (Lawson); her husband Dewey Akers; her children, Devan Akers (David Snyder) and Dalton Akers (Addi); her sister Kala Brogan; her son Zaden; and her sister-in-law Claudia Dentzer. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (835 Kaler Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made payable to Michael J. Fox Foundation (for Parkinson's research) or American Cancer Society.
